I have been training with Heather and Mel for the last 15 months now and am currently working toward my KCGC Gold Award. The training methods are all reward based and I have found this to be most effective to my dog (he'll do anything for a crumb!). He has so much fun and to see him enjoying himself whilst learning at the same time is a real bonus. The classes have taught me how to be a confident handler by applying discipline and affection at the correct |

time. In addition, the instructors are always willing to work on any problems you may be having with your dog. In my case "Troy" is showing aggressive behaviour around dogs he doesn't know and Mel is currently working with me to help Troy overcome this. Dexter says............. I thoroughly enjoyed the puppy experience classes and looked forward to going each week. I met lots of new friends and learned how to behave myself. I also learnt to do lots of tricks so I now know how to impress people!! I am going to the bronze class next, and can't wait.

I attended the Canine Connexon class with my Cavalier King Charles spaniel bitch, Pearl. Over a period of several weeks, we worked towards taking our Kennel Club bronze award. I was very pleased with the standard of training offered, and I picked up some useful tips. The classes were informal but structured, with all members receiving individual attention and feedback. I am now considering whether to continue to the next level, perhaps looking at taking the KC silver award at some point in the future - after a lot of practice, of course. |

I'm Sam I am eight months old, and have just completed my puppy course. When I first started I was so frightened of people and other dogs. After my first lesson, I had enjoyed it so much playing with the other dogs,something I had never done before. As the weeks went on I learnt to sit, down, walk to heel and many other things thanks to Heather my trainer. I am so tired after my class, I just crash out on the carpet! |
