Canine Connexon Dog Training School

Whether you are aiming to get your puppy off to a good start,
would like to progress the training of an older dog,
or are thinking of trying something new,
Canine Connexon has a course just for you.

At Canine Connexon you will be expertly guided through the
Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme
Puppy Foundation Training and Bronze Level Award.

Our After School Club is open to dogs that
have completed their Bronze Award course.

Puppy Foundation Training
Exercises include:
loose lead walking, puppy recall, socialisation, food manners,
stand/sit/down/stay, responsibility & care, plus much more . .

The Puppy Foundation Training course "aims to provide
a means of socialising puppies and to lay down a foundation
for education & training"

Bronze Award
Basic Obedience Training
Exercises include:
controlled walk amongst people & dogs, stay for one minute,
return to handler, control at door/gate, plus much more . . .

The Bronze Award (basic obedience course)
aims to provide handlers with a basic knowledge of understanding
and training their canine companion"

Silver Award
Improving Your Skills
Exercises include:
road walk, food manners (other people's!)
come away from distractions, vehicle control
and much, much more . . .

The Silver Award
"aims to provide handlers with a good knowledge
of understanding their canine companion"

Gold Award
Giving You Greater Knowledge
Exercises include:
walk free beside handler, send the dog to bed
relaxed isloation, canine emergency stop
and much, much more . . .

After School Club
Fun with Focus
The training in this group covers all elements of both the
Silver and Gold Good Citizen Awards,
together with fun stuff, polishing up handler skills,
and exercises from various canine disciplines such as
Heelwork to Music, Competition Obedience, Agility

Puppy Course - for puppies up to 10 months
Bronze Award - for dogs over 10 months, with little or no training, or that have completed their Puppy Course
Silver Award - for dogs that have passed their Bronze
Gold Award - for dogs that have passed their Silver

After School Club - for dogs that have completed their Bronze course, irrespective of assessment outcome. There is no membership requirement

Course Length:
Puppy & Bronze = 1 hour per week for 8 weeks
After School Club = 1 or 2 hours per week, ongoing
